Rules of the Club

1.       The book must be returned within one month’s time. A grace period of one week may be allowed under special circumstances, however prior notice must be given to KELS Book Club Admins.

2.       In case of any damage to the book, payment shall have to be made by the student according to the following formulas:-

a.       Minor damage/tearing of a page or two 10% of the original price of the book

b.      Moderate damage/ losing a few pages 25% of the original price

c.       Losing the book/damaging it greatly 80% of the original price

3.       The determination of the damage will be made by the KELS Book Club Admins and shall have to be accepted by the concerned student. Student can be notified of the damage within 1 day’s time.

4.       A fee of Rs. 200/- shall have to be paid by all KELS Book Club members upon new membership. Membership will be renewed without charge after a year. Membership cards will be given to all members.

5.       Every member must contribute at least three books. The list of the books will be regularly updated on this page.

6.       All members must give their personal contact numbers. Privacy of each and every member will be strictly upheld. 

7.       Certificates will be given to all active members at the end of the year.
